When you get it, your going to love it! We’ve had ours since June, and have really enjoyed it. Especially driving it off-road and in the snow.Received the brochure from Southbank Melbourne Dealer -Attached

Page 4 of spec is all i find.. nothing about dual top group or the sky top and HT3 body colour 3 piece only listed on Overland.I was looking for the roof options but couldn't find much
hahaha, yeah but jeeps, make it your own !!!.I prefer the black top!
In my view, red with a red top looks like a fire engine and yellow with a yellow top looks like a US school bus!
.
where did you see the Rubicon has the 'stock sport fenders'? Surely that is not right for the Rubicon.Aussie Rubicon spec (at least I think from looking at the buyer’s guide).
32 Inch tyres – sucks balls.
Black roof only, no colour option – sucks, especially with our hot climate.
Stock low rider fender flares – sucks.
Steel front bumper – that’s good news, but no mention of a steel rear bumper…..hmmmmm? Will we get stiffed with the stock plastic rear bumper?
Cloth seats standard – really at $69 drive away, leather is an option?
By the way there’s no manual option in Australia cause anyone spending that sort of money for a REAL 4X4 wanting a manual transmission will buy a 79 or 76 series landcrusier V8 turbo diesel, why RESALE. Disappointing for those wanting a manual shifter though, should at least be a an option. I prefer the auto myself.
Same Code for Fenders is on the USA site.See below, Fender flares MM2 same for sport & Rubi. MM3 colour coded fender flares listed as option, but high FF not listed? Hope I'm wrong.
So in Aust, def Black top only on the Rubicon.Same Code for Fenders is on the USA site.
i called a Salesman, he seems to be less aware than us.
but is going to try and findout the option pack costs and if the threepcs hardtop on the Rubicon can be got in body colour ( as the sheet says No. ) If pricing was lower - i might be ok with and get it colour coded myself. but at 71k driveaway. yeah nah.
he agrees it is a higher price than he thought. i basically said on road without the 3 option packs its already more than i can get a Patrol for, he told me to go get a patrol then. i said i got one already,
I have even looked at the Sport, it misses out on so many options, it not funny. and it the only one to get the LTD slip diff, can't get that in the Overland even, speaking of Overland, it has 18" rims and 255/70 tyres which are 32's ( Rubi gets 17" and 255/75). so yeah. i currently relooking at how i would make a Sport or overland to what i want.cause it has alot of what i seek,
but not looking good for a JL in my place.
yeah i like for looks , but yeah agreedI don't like leather seats. Too hot and sweaty in shorts.
