Well just rang my dealer after seeing the photo of one in Brisbane, he said he has pricing and all the info, but only on line so far. No hard copy's

He is going to ring around and see if he can get me a firm date on when they will have one at the dealership. So should know by the end of the day he said.

Ok I just got a phone call back, little over an hour. The dealer said he will have one (Sport) for a test drive in the second week of January. They are only sending Sports models out for test drives first, Rubicons and Overland's will not be here until March April. He is going to call me as soon as he has a firm date for delivery.
Can't wait, as for towing, he said he is getting conflicting info, some say 2300 kg and others say 2500 kg ether should meet my needs.

As for towing, the specs are likely to be much the same as for the JK.

My dealer said mid Jan for demo vehicle. Delivery of purchased cars will start April / May

I think as long as I can touch /feel /see the high spec and the options in real life that will help. I am considering a Rubicon, so would naturally prefer to test drive same

Any update on price yet? $69k for the Rubicon, assume that's a best guess, plus on roads you're looking at around $75k drive away which is getting pretty steep. That's V8 79 Series landcrusier territory?

It is also Y62 Patrol TI with some change for accessoires. i have a 2015 Y62, so if they gunna be that steep, it might be curtains for a JLUR in Mojito
