JL vs JK leather seats

Recently upgraded from a 2015 Sahara to a 2022 Rubicon, both with leather seats. Anyone else find that the JK had much more comfortable seats and better quality leather? Not knocking the JL interior at all, everything else is massively improved but was a little surprised with the seat comfort and quality on the JL.

I agree JK’s seat comfort was better, but I find the quality of the leather better on my JL.

Then again, I have the Katzkins, so maybe that’s why.

That's definitely why. I wish I opted for the Katzkins leather.

Jeep struggled with JL’s front area for awhile. To accommodate the 8-speed transmission, they had to lengthen the wheelbase and increase the size of the hump on the floor, resulting in the front seats being anchored 1-inch higher and closer to the sound bar.

And I still don’t know what that strap for the recliner is all about...

I don't know about the quality of the leather, but our JKR seats are definitely more comfortable then the JLR seats.

I struggle to think of a seat that's not more comfortable than the JL seat. I think it'd be a toss-up vs an upside-down barstool.

OK I'M KIDDING ABOUT THE BARSTOOL. But not about automotive seats. Just about anything else is better.
