It’s like the wind catches in the folds of the freedom panel and it goes up and down, just once and then fine. My rear was fluttering at 70 MPH today. I may contact BesTop for a fix.

Not to sound like a broken record but the two bars going from driver side to passenger side......you have the velcro wrapped around them....all the way across? Also go up top and double check your nuts to make sure they are secure on all of the bolts.

This didnt happen until just recently, @ 70 I thought the top was about to come off.
I called Bestop and they sent a complete roof cover and back window, has a ton more velcro than the original, in about a month they have shipped me 75% of the parts of a new top, have not installed it being it just showed up an hour ago, if no rain tomorrow I will throw it on.

same they shipped me a new top and back window with new tailgate seal. will try to install sometime this week.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to store the windows when you take them out? Not much space in the 2 door to lay them flat with the seats up and I don’t wanna get any creases in the Windows by folding them. Any tips would be appreciated

Unfortunately 3 days into my install I have the flappy rear window and failing seal. I haven't even driven over 45 mph or opened the sunrider. On my jk trektop the tail bar would pull tension on the rear window when you rotated it into place, tight enough to bounce a coin off of it. This one leaves the window loose which is visually distracting in the rearview mirror. Attempting to contact bestop now.

Bestop will send you a new top part, rear window and tailgate seal.
Seems they missed something in production, sucks to have to wait but in the end it all works out in your favor, you will have a spare back window and top. The swap takes about 20 minutes.

Damn. So far, I’ve only gotten a new bar and seal. The rear window is still super loose. Guess I’ll call back and ask for the rest.

I have not gotten a new bar, seal, rear window and top. not real impressed with the added velcro, the window still looks a bit loose to me, being its only been on for a few days I expect it to get looser over time.
Overall I really cant complain, BT has been a pleasure to work with, the dealer would have said "unable to duplicate problem" or "working as designed" or some other bs they always come up with.

A few questions for those with the flapping issue on the back window.
1) Does it occur in the diamond, twill, or both? 2) Side windows up/down, sunrider, open, etc? 3) If the windows are up, does it go away if the A/C is on or off, and the circulator button on or off?

the hotter the day the worse it is,
the additional velcro did not improve it much,
looks to me like the back window need to be a bit shorter and a bit narrower, I don't think the stretch factor was considered.
