JL stock backspacing?

I know the stock backspacing on the jk was 6.25 inches. Is this the same number for the JL?

Looking to upgrade to 33x10 tires soon and want to get aftermarket wheels with factory backspacing to keep the geometry the same.

Stock JLUS or JLU is +44mm backspace. Upgrading wheels as such will be hard to find.

Depends on which OEM wheels, it varies a little. Mine, for example, have 6" backspacing (+44.5 mm offset). Others have from about 5 3/4" - 6 1/2".

Yes, in metric you need 5X127

If anyone here can comment with the performance of 33’s on an eight speed transmission JL it would be appreciated. I remember I was very disappointed when I put them on my stock JK and eventually ended up re-gearing to 410s

I doubt you will even notice it, especially in a 2 door, you may need to re-calibrate your computer for new tire size though as it effects shift points as well as your speedometer. I'm on 35's and have noticed zero effect on power, just a small hit on my fuel mileage. People with manuals seem to notice it more when going to larger tires. Since the stock tires are 31.5, mine actually measured 32 with a tape, your size increase is pretty small.
