Backspacing and offset question.. Help!!

Hey guys! So I am currently running stock rubicon rims on 285 75 R17s with borla 1.5” wheel spacers. I love the look. My tires poke out just enough. I am currently looking at some DV8 rims 9x17. They offer them in two offsets: 0 offset with a 5”backspacing and -12 offset with a 4.5”backspacing. Which ones should I choose to keep my current look. I don’t want my tires poking anymore than they already are.

Of the two the 0 offset would be the closest to what you have. 1.75" spacers are roughly 0 offset. You would actually want about a positive 6 offset to be the same.

I made the mistake of buying -12 offset wheels, they poke about 2.2” which is significant.

Yeah I have 1.75" spacers on now. When I get wheels they will positive 12 or 18.

Right now I have 35s on 17x8.5 rims with 5.2 backspacing: they poke about 3/4-inch, which is quite a bit
