I have the exact same problem. Factory stock 2020 JLU with 5,300 miles. Six weeks ago I went over a series of expansion joints on the freeway and the front end had the feeling of a dribbling basketball. I thought I had a flat tire, but after pulling over, everything was fine. Proceeded again, but thought the steering felt different from that moment on. I thought maybe I ran over something that began dribbling inside the wheel well. Six weeks more of driving with the front end not feeling quite right, but I didn’t have another incident- so I thought maybe I was imagining the difference in the feel of the front end at highway speeds. Yesterday, I was driving in the freeway and went over a round drain cover in the road and the same exact thing happened again, but now I didn’t stop completely. Instead, I moved over two lanes and slowed to 45 mph and the wobbling stopped. So, now I know I have a problem. The Jeep is going in on Monday for servicing - please tell me this is an easy fix. This is my second JLU - first one was replaced with this one under the lemon law. I don’t think I have that patience to go through this again, plus the fear of this happening again is real. It feels like the front wheels are coming off the car- not a good feeling at highway speed.

If you replace enough parts you’ll make it drive right. It’s a design feature of solid front axles that any loose components will cause this. No matter what the other guys on this forum say, a good steering stabilizer is necessary.

This is hopefully my next modification when I get my Jeep back. Stock, I had no wobble, even while having the aluminum steering box. Got the TSB upgrade to the steel box then got my lift and I have a wobble whenever I hit uneven ground or bumps. A Stabilizer is what I plan to get next. ?

It’s just a plain old physics problem. The Fox non-adjustable through shaft stabilizer was perfect for my setup and made it 100% smooth to drive.

Well this is disappointing. Now I have two death wobble vehicles. 2021 Ford F350 and 2020 JLUS. Didn’t know jeep has the same problem Ford has.

It is exactly the same front end design.

It’s simple to fix, on both vehicles.

Ford is providing replacement stabilizers for the life of the vehicle.

And they’re all insufficient, undersized for the vehicle.
Any recommendations on a replacement for the wrangler (2020JLUS)? Would like to take care of it before it happens. Wife will be pissed that I have two newer vehicles that do this. Freaks her out in the F350. Unfortunately I’m used to it and know how to recover.

Bilstein for the Ford and Fox TS for the wrangler. IMO. Have tried several on the trucks, Bilstein is generally readily available and lasts a good long time.
