I don't read about these for the JL jeeps. Are they not a thing anymore?
In the TJ and YJ years, to better correct rear driveshaft angles and also to raise the motor's oil pan a little higher, we'd install 1" Motor Mount Lift complimented along with a 1" Body Mount Lift. Not a fan of body lifts, but the reason for the body lift is to allow the extra headroom in engine bay for the motor mount lift, which is the real reason for doing this mod
In a short 2dr wheelbase jeep like the YJ and TJ any little bit of help for the rear driveshaft pinion angle was appreciated, and having the extra inch of clearance under engine oil pan for a steel armor skid is nice too.
I'm going to presume that Motor Mount lifts are just not a thing anymore as I can't find any info on them for JLs at all. Just curious why they aren't a thing anymore.
