Anyone seen August numbers yet?
Edmunds has them:
Sport s JLU back up to 73% 36/10 but I believe(unconfirmed) that Acq fee is not waived for July, so kind of a wash?

Thinking about leasing a rubi wrangler unlimited while i wait for the Jeep Truck to come out.
I really don't know much about leasing but am good at crunching numbers.
I looked at edmunds but numbers are all over the place.

Looking for a good guess of residual value and a good money factor (should it equate to what interest rate i can get over 2400)?
i.e. if a loan i could get 3.75% on a 60 month loan should i be looking at .0016 money factor or would it be higher due to it being a lease?
Shouldn't residual value be up around 75%? Looking at a 24 mo/12k year or 15k year
Also what's realistic off MSRP on a lease? invoice price?
located in the southeast.

Head over to Edmunds to get lease numbers for your area ...

https://forums.edmunds.com/discussi...2018-jeep-wrangler-lease-deals-and-prices/p16

RV and MF are set by leasing company (Chrysler Cap or USbank).

Discount off MSRP is same for buy or lease unless there are specific buy/lease incentives ... none on wranglers right now.

I suggest the $2 Leasematic app.

Dealer called today that it’s in and ready negotiate the numbers.

What advice can you give me?
How much dealer discount to expect, if any?

Website Msrp $51,600 with selected bells and whistles.
Looking at 60 months to lower payments.

Thanks

Looking for advise:

I have been wanting a wrangler for the last year or so. The issue is I am currently in a lease with a toyota corolla with 18 months remaining. I started this lease bc I was way under water with my last loan, so now I am in the same situation. I owe about 6K more than the care is worth. My other concern is that I have already hit 24K miles in the car and its only been a year and a half. So I will owe about $1,500 in fees when I turn it in at maturity.

So my question is, should I go to the dealerships and see if they are willing to help me at all with the equity since I know I am already screwed at the end of this lease or just wait it out and pay those fees before getting the jeep?

You're supposed to negotiate the numbers before you order it, not after it arrives....now you have no leverage. A 60 month lease is a terrible idea .

What is the $999 dealer fee if the doc fee is already $458? They're giving you no discount and charging $1500 in fees? Find a new dealer. I just got a $39k MSRP car for $368/month including tax on 36 months/10k miles with $0 paid at signing.
