For as much as Jeep reflects upon the heritage of Willys by slapping its silhouette and "1941" on everything but Jeep-branded underwear, I'll never understand why they seem so hesitant, if not defiant, in offering a military olive green color. Rescue Green wasn't quite that color, but it was incredibly popular on the JK, and Commando Green came and went more quickly than a Trump cabinet position.

So, in hoping they eventually offer that color or something close to it, here's my mockup of what is arguably the best, truest Wrangler color:

Love it

The original Wrangler didn't even come in this color. It actually wasn't available for almost 5 years from launch of the Wrangler.

I'm 90% certain that Gator will be the same color as Commando Green. I wish that they would release it already but it doesn't start production until October or so I believe.

Here's Jeep Green:

Now THIS one is perfect. The other color you sent in your initial posting looks more like something either from the Exorcist or something that is usually found in an infants diaper. But this one... SPOT ON!!!!!

Well, that’s quite unique. Does that hood prevent you from lowering the windshield?
Yes. I have been a Jeep owner for about 15 years now and never once lowered the windshield, so it is not a problem personally for me, but if you want it lower, 100% that is not the hood for you.
