JL in Commando Green

I had a JKUR in Commando. Love that green along with Tank and Sarge. Sarge was a 75th anniversary color only. Great color but didn't care for the whole package.

I’m going for sting gray as the color choices stand, but if they offered that green I would go for it in a heartbeat. Guess it helps that my favorite color is green anyway!

Hopefully if they do offer it, they'll pair it with black badging, the silver they choose to go with just looks wrong (had to replace it with black).

Yeah, I saw a green Compass at a dealer and thought that would look good on a Wrangler? Just can't stand that neon green that's out now. I noticed 3 discounted Rams on the lot in that neon color, so guess I'm not alone?

Yeah, that Jeep looks damn good. Despite my affinity for Rescue Green, I'll still argue Commando Green is the best Wrangler color. I searched high and low for one when they originally hit the lots and not a single dealership could seem to hold onto them.

And strangely enough, for as many JKs I see on the road here on a daily basis, I rarely see a Commando Green.

I’d like it to be a little darker, more like an army green, but I agree- it’s oddly rare. I see more of the “skin colored” version that tried to be sand colored.

I was disappointed in Commando. I preferred Rescue and Tank much more. Jeep is weird about brining back old colors though so I wouldn't hold my breath. They'll come up with another military green but it'll be called something else.

Any new info on F8 Green on the 2019 JL? F8 reminds me of the old Moss Green color on the late 90’s TJ.

I am building a custom JL and painting it in Commando with custom black accents. I will be sure to post pics of the original, the build throughout and then the end. Love the Commando color. So excited to get it done. Should be complete in the next couple of months.

Sting gray here and I love it but if this was available I would be all over it.

I had all options picked out, and took my wife to pick the color. She looked at every available color, except bikini, and picked Sting-Grey because she said it was the most military looking one to her. She probably would have picked a military green if it was available. Now she wants a G wagon...
