Yes, if your JL has the Cold Weather Group option, you need to be sure you get the removable cord that is part of the block heater kit.

Man, now I’m really kicking myself in a** for not making sure of each of these items upon purchase. I have the cold weather option and haven’t seen a removable cord like in the image. Hopefully I’ve learned a lesson

So I just went and checked under the hood again and located the heater cord. Doesn’t seem detachable though. Nicely wound and Velcro bound. Included image.

Sent you a video in the last post. Figured you would find it stashed under there somewhere. I believe it is a detachable / replaceable cord unless they have changed. Anyway, glad you found. Do put some bulb socket grease, etc. on the 3 prongs of that heater plug. Doing so will save you a headache some cold day...

Excellent video, I never would have looked there for what appeared to be a detachable cord.

According to the owners manual (which I received today when I took delivery of my Sport S) there are supposed to be Velcro “tie down” straps in the center console like there was in the JK. They are to strap down the top when in sunrider.

I didn’t get them, and didn’t get the rubber mat for the cargo cubby. Dealer’s going to pull from a stock order Monday and send them to me (will be out of town next two weeks.)

I did get the receiver hitch cap... but I didn’t order the tow package.

Those Sunrider Velcro straps were in one of the boxes that the soft top came in (if you had the dual top)

Get your fuel filler door then. That is standard on Rubicon
Is there anything official from Jeep showing the Rubicon’s come with the fuel door? I just received an email reply from my sales guy saying “that’s news to me”. I’m taking the Rubi in tomorrow morning and I’d love to have something as ‘proof’ that I was shorted. Thanks guys

Best thing I can find is when you go to the build configurator, and skip directly to summary, then select standard features, it’s right there. And just show pictures of any/every Rubicon you can find online. They all have them, except the few that were built by people that were high at work.

Read the attached Mopar/Jeep build sheet. Listed clearly under "External Features" that there is a "Black Fuel Filler Door" that is one of the features of the 2018 Rubicon JL.

Figured it may be a good idea to isolate a single thread to find information on what should be coming with your new JL, as I’m sure some folks have gotten shafted already and not received all the little extras upon delivery. Not everyone knows that info, so here’s what I have gathered thus far (feel free to chime in and I’ll edit if I’m missing items):

1. Two sets of keys
2. Jeep mini ratchet set/Torx (for hardtop/windshield/doors)
3. Lugnut key (for spare)
4. Freedom top storage bag (if equipped)
5. Carpet floor mats standard (but not if all season mats are equipped)
6. JL Wrangler Owners Manual/Warranty guide (may just be in your Jeep’s infotainment system only). Not 100%, but can be printed if requested directly through Jeep.
7. Jeep hitch receiver rubber insert (if trailer towing group is equipped)
8. Towing Pkg only: small baggie with tubing and splices.
9. Rubicon only: Fuel Filler door
10. Cold Weather Group option, you need to be sure you get the removable cord that is part of the block heater kit (and look under your hood for it if not in a separate bag)
11. Rear Cargo cubby rubber mat (on 4 door)
12. Rubber mats inside your center console
13. Velcro straps if you have a sun rider top

Also, ensure you get registered for the “Jeep Wave Program” because your new JL will receive complimentary maintainence for a period of time.

CONFIRMED NOT INCLUDED:
Windshield tie downs

What am I missing?
Full tank of gas

I didn’t put that, because that’s dealer specific. Jeep only claims 5 gallons of gas on the build sheet
