I've done some searching with little results. I want to run a wire from the center top of my dash (where the little storage compartments are) I've mounted my Garvin low on the windshield and want to run my power down thru the storage compartment, behind/around the info center and eventually to a keyed power source ( tap into back of pwr outlet?) I really don't want to test pulling on panels and end up breaking something on my not even 2-week old JL. I also don't have the aux swt module on my jeep (in front of shifter), and will want to add at some point, and I'm sure I'll need to get behind the dash again. Any and all help is greatly appreciate!

It’s actually really easy. It’s only a few screws and some dash pulling.

Check out the “red dash removal” thread. Or search for a member called CodeIV. He did it and walks you through it pretty well.
Thank for the direction!! It seems very easy to do.
