My daughter has a 24 two-door hardtop sport. Yesterday she was doing the first half of her drive home from Colorado and went through a heavy rain storm. After the rain was done, she told me that she was hearing water sloshing sounds from behind the dash. She held the phone up so that I could hear it and indeed I did hear what sounded like water sloshing around while she was driving. No warning lights, nothing failed to work, and eventually it went away. She is arriving in about 2 1/2 to 3 hours, and barring a heavy rain that she passes through in a recurrence of the problem, I am trying to think of what I could be looking for. The first thing that comes to my mind is blocked drain vents, but she says where she parks it. She doesn’t get a lot of debris on the Jeep and does not think that that’s what it is. Where should I look? I searched the forums, I’ve searched everything, I am getting no hits, no returns. I’m not sure what if anything I should do about it. I thought the forum may offer some info, advice, or thoughts. What y’all got?

No interior leaking reported. I am VERY interested in inspecting the thing. Not sure if she lifted the hood or not.

Check to see if the cowl is draining properly. I'd pop off the corners and see if they are filled with leaves or debris causing a slow drain.
