I have a JLUR (auto, stock tires/wheels) and it feels considerably slower than my Pacifica Limited (which has basically the same motor, though a 9spd trans.) in all situations (light, moderate and heavy throttle). My Wrangler also feels slower than the V6 Grand Cherokees I have had as loaners over time.

What is strange to me is that Car and Driver tested the JLUR to be quicker than the Pacifica 0-60 by a couple of tenths. I never timed a 0-60 run but I would be shocked if my Pacifica were slower than my Jeep.

Can anyone else with other vehicles equipped with FCA's 3.6L V6 comment? Same experience? Or is there something wrong with my Jeep?

The problem is that you are driving a brick with a significantly increased axle ratio.
I agree with above. Majorly different gearing ratios, and heavier drivetrain will contribute to a slower run.

My point is that at least one publication got a JLUR to run quicker than the Pacifica.

What transmission did the publication use? what was the elevation of their testing grounds compared to where you live? Do you rev the engine in neutral and dump it into drive to launch the Jeep... etc. Lots of variables.

My JL 3.6 moves out , It’s much faster than the JK I’ve had a few trying to get around me on the on ramp not even close. I’m looking forward to rolling up against one of them 2.0 let’s see how it goes. I have a little two door Rubicon 4:10 axle it smokes the tires.

Are you loading up the torque converter? C&D is very likely left foot braking and holding an RPM to get that 0-60 number.

Funny how the SOTP Dyno can vary. (Seat of The Pants) Sometimes feel doesn't match a stopwatch.

We often rented Dodge Caravans on vacation. I found them fast. My wife got a Pacifica as a free company car. We never test drove it, but i just knew with the addition of more gears and the new tranny it would scream. I felt it was slower than the older Caravans. Maybe I was right, maybe not. I felt like the transmission needed a normal mode, and a sport mode. It was first year, so maybe the transmission wasn't programmed the way I would have liked.
