Hey guys and gals, I got a JKS 3"lift on my 2023 2dr Rubicon back in April and I've taken it offroad 2 x once to Jericho Mountain and to RedBird SRA now the rear suspension is squeaking like a 1950s pickup truck 😆 what the heck could it be? There are no grease fittings other than the front swaybar links

Most likely it’s rear control arm bushings, or if you have Fox shocks, could be the shock shafts…..spray them down with a rubber friendly lubricant, like silicone spray. Spray liberally. Then articulate the suspension, then repeat as needed…….sometimes you’ll have to loosen or remove the bolt depending on where the squeak is coming from….

Thank you I will try the silicone spray on the Fox Shocks, but if it's the control arm bushings how would I fix that problem? It's only 3 months since I installed this kit

If it’s not the shocks, then spray the CA bushings, sometimes it helps to flex the wheel, either by jacking up the frame or finding a rock or uneven ground to drive up on, to slightly bind the bushing then just try and spray between the bolt and the bushing and wherever you can force some spray in….If you have the means you can also drop the CAs one end at a time, one arm at a time and soak them real good…

If it ends up being the control arm bushings and squeak returns, then reach out to JKS to see if they’ll send out new bushings to press in or swap out the arms for you…. Back in the day, they were super helpful and had great customer service, but I haven’t dealt with them in years, so I don’t know how they are now… hopefully still good…

@Chrisbayridge1 Which JKS lift did you get? How do you like it?

I'm getting mine installed the first week of August.
3" lift JKS 146KFA it's the one with HD Springs and the steel body FOX shocks the Springs make it a bit stiff on the streets especially when it's not full of my tools and gear, but off road it's great! Recently wheeling at Jericho Mountain State Park NH and RedBird SRA IN Indiana the suspension performed perfectly definitely worth the 1900. And change but I would have picked the Aluminum body FOX shocks if I had to do it again that would have added over 5p0 dollars to the price but I regret not doing it Enjoy your new lift BTW the customer service from JKS was great I was on the phone with them for help with the installation torque specs etc.
