Did some trails and shooting last night in Acworth, NH. Just swapped on 37s to a new 2022 Rubi XR, waiting on the lift install.

ran great on the trails!

After all this winter weather, it’s been fun playing in the snow and seeing how it performs.
It's been my first time in the snow with a good vehicle in the snow. If I had to sum it up in a word? CONFIDENT. Each time I had my doubts, it'd pull through like a champ. Now I know why I see more Wranglers on the road when it starts snowing. (And flooding.)

My hope was to be able to drive the Wrangler out to the back field of my property and then throw on a pair of snowshoes to bring my trail cameras out of the cold. As soon as I tried to drive into the driveway near the shed I knew that wouldn't have been a good idea.

The snow, for the most part, wasn't fresh and powdery but rather hard packed which didn't allow for great traction. I had the Jeep in part-time 4 wheel instead of 4 wheel Hi Auto. Went about 3 feet and then just started spinning. Took the traction control off and then rocked back and forth to finally get enough traction to go back and then forward. Did this a few time to get about 25 feet off the road.

I had to use the snowshoes from the driveway which was a smart move. While the picture going into the field doesn't look too treacherous, it's a pretty good slope downward that is hidden by the drifting snow. Going down would have been possible but getting back up? Maybe with 37" tires but then again, the hard pack characteristics of the snow gave nothing for the tires to grip onto.

I really like the Snazzberry color and even more in the full color combo package! I keep telling myself that I chose the Bright white so trail strips dont show as much, but it boils down to me not wanting to pay for a color option. LOL.
