I'm not, how would I be able to tell the difference.

I replied earlier and told you that you have an eTorque, JLU... and thus, no Auxiliary battery, you will have metal jumper between N1 and N2 and also no Aux battery negative cable attached the Main battery, neg terminal....

You can verify that you have eTorque, by looking over the factory build sheet for your JLU.

To see a copy of your JLU's build sheet:

Click on the link. Now, go up and add you Vin # to the URL and then press your Enter key again.

The eTorque system doesn't have a second battery under the fuse box. It does have a second battery but it's larger and under the vehicle toward the back.
Interesting I'll have to take a look then, that's good to know.

I just went thru this same problem, I have a Gen 2 Genesis duel battery setup and batteries were 4 years old.

My remote start quit working and then started getting FOB not detected but not all the time so after it kept getting worst I had the batteries tested even though they charged fine and both failed with low CCA’s and high resistance so I picked up two brand new batteries and also replaced the FOB batteries and all works as designed now.
