I like the Mojave— but I have, do, and will continue to make fun of gimmicks like fake hood scoops ( numerous), hood vents/heat extractors ( looking at you Rubi), exhaust tips (Audi, Mercedes, VW the worst offenders-but even Rolls Royce), fake outside or through the audio system ( Mustang), engine sounds, wings on junk that couldn’t possibly attain the speed where they do anything. I can’t remember when all the Phony crap got started. Heck— they couldn’t sell Superbirds/ Daytonas because people didn’t like the huge wing and aero. Even though they were functional and used to set a Bonneville speed record (216.945mph mi.) that held more than 20 years……Fake marketing gimmicks

Lol I love my fake hood scoop. It reminds me of my scat pack I had which was also a fake hood scoop. I just like the look, I think it looks agressive.

I enjoy when Renegades or Libertys wave - especially if it's a gal. I feel like the big brother extending the right hand of fellowship to the 'wish I'd bought a Wrangler' driver. JT's hardly ever wave (back) and that's OK. I've done my part.

I pretty much wave to everyone. It's just a courtesy and a show of kindness to those on the road with you. Yes, yes, I even wave at the the Broncos, lol. They've paid to play just like us and I'd buy one of those too if my wife would let me. Here in South Central Missouri, waving to everyone is just the norm. I wish it would rub off on the out-of-state drivers.

Its just part of the Jeep lifestyle. Embrace it and wave or be one of those who just bought a Jeep as they would any vehicle and don’t understand the culture.

I just lift a few fingers as we cross path and couldn’t care less if they wave back or not.

Inside, I feel a bit sorry for them to be so damn uptight or ignorant.

“Well over” 71 —Nascar rules for 69 required 500 production ( increased to one for every other dealership in 70) my 69 was engine ser#HP360 (60 something, can’t remember the last #) I remove all sharp objects and pre dial the suicide hot line before watching auctions. Traded it for a Harley when we lost minimum required 100 octane gas. ? Would have made a good retirement plan, except I would Never Sell if IF IF. Not the only one— a 1 of 100 red 54 Corvette just sold for ~$380K— mine was a 1 of 200 blue, sold to a collector in Stuttgart Germany in 89 $23.5K . To add insult to injury— bought an 89 Bronco with the money. Also have Whiskey handy watching auctions. ? Top 2–there were others, first car was a 55 Chevy Nomad, 66 only L79 Nova SS, next 2, 427 Cobra— $3,995, used at John Drew Dodge father wouldn’t co-sign. All but being given away with the Arab Oil Embargo. The only vehicle I have kept all these years is a Jeep- Dad’s 3A ?

When I 1st got my Jeep last year, I waved at several JT’s before I realized they were trucks. Couldn’t really tell from the front. At 1st, I was like, dang…gotta wait longer to see what it is. Then I realized that JT’s probably waved more often than the Wranglers I passed. So, I wave to to both equally. ??

I wave to JL's & JT's just the same... With the way the World is these days, a small token of kindness to others isn't too much to do...

If you 'miss' someone or someone 'misses' your waving, just remember they may have other things going on (kids, pets, wife/husband, talking and concentrating on a BT phone call etc.). ?.
