When I bought my current house 8 years ago I inherited a complete collection of LG appliances (seller obviously went to the home depot July 4th sale and bought the package special). I have learned over the past 8 years that it's best to just learn each appliance and service it myself...turns out i'm a far better tech than the guys that they send out for warranty repairs. At this point i've rebuilt the fridge once, replaced the interlock on the microwave twice (actually going to be replacing it this weekend because now it runs with the door open) and i've replaced every part in the dryer at least three times. I replaced the dishwasher two weeks after I bought the house because the pump died and it was the loudest dishwasher i've ever experienced. I'm never buying a "high end" appliance because all appliances are garbage now (can confirm because I know them inside and out). Not going to invite more, more complicated, problems on devices that my family depends on every day of our lives.

How can you guys expect companies to thrive and Wall Street to take off if companies provide quality goods and decent warranties?
