Absolutely, I may get one as honestly, slogging through a snow storm in the open on my quad gets colder every year. I'm the home owners snow plow guy. EDIT, OMG, I just looked at pricing, $35,000 for that 2 seat, up to $87,000 for a 4 seat, they are not that FUN!

So, the jeep with all battery, it is a nice science experiment. Using salvaged tesla batteries? Ouch, nothing could go wrong there. Bottom line, where do you charge it overnight on the trail? From a gas generator running full power all night.

Only reasonable EV path forever, is a Prius like hybrid. Eventually fully electric drive, with gas generator. Why not small gas turbines?

I also think the reviewer is snobbish, poopooing the current willies, like he has ever driven one. Try taking the electric throwback one foot deep into the snow, yeah, nope.

Just for reference. The one in my pic was $24k, its a 21 that I picked up w/ 1200 miles on it. I also have an Can am X3 4 seat that I paid $22k for w/ 1500 miles on it.

But yes, new, they are pricey. A full loaded 2 seater can be 50k anymore.

I'll be out all weekend on mine, local mud bog w/ chicken bbq, then bands at local podunk bars. My kinda stuff

It's simply applied leverage in physics. When the front axle sway is still connected, the body and chassis stays fairly well aligned with the front axle. This means that if the front axle and rear are on different slopes, the rear axle is forced to be further misaligned to the chassis, or flexed out more. But when the sway bar is disconnected in the front, the body finds a more neutral position between the two misaligned axles.

Haha. In the previous 4 years of being retired, I have lost reality with regard to pricing. Mcdonalds burgers and drinks and fries $35 for two. Bolts 3/8 inch 3 inch long $4. "scooters" for $80,000? I'm buying the 392.

Yet the $3,000 65 inch TV i Bought from costco 6 years ago, now cost $1,100, wtf.

Why, why is a big gulp 99 cents, yet a plastic bottle of same with half the volume costs $3.50?

I think there was a time in the '80s and '90s when Grand Cherokee and the 4Runner were fighting it out. They were even throwing V8's at each other. Now Grand Cherokee has become a stupid boring SUV

Lots of different reasons! With the sodas, the 99 cent big gulps are probably to get you in the store and tempt you to buy other things. The $3.50 sodas tend to regularly have promotions where you get the soda and a hotdog for $4 or whatever.

In computer parts a lot of it was the costs of everything going up with a VERY VERY HEAVY dose of "the market seems to bear the higher prices so we're just going to leave them there" lol.

Off hand, mcdonalds has a $5 special with a mcchicken, 4 nuggets, small fries, and a small drink. 12 years ago they sold a similar meal for $5 that only gave you the mcchicken or the nuggets, not both. And they're paying a lot more to their employees now.
