I think this would be ok, if they keep the technology in the powertrain and keep it really simple and focused, with reliability being the number one concern.Codenamed J70, the most technologically advanced Wrangler of them all is getting BEV and REPB versions.
I don't really trust them to do that. lol.
A properly engineered Jeep with electric propulsion could probably get ridiculous. Especially if each wheel had its own motor! You don't have to deal with driveshafts or differentials or lockers. It could end up being mechanically a lot simpler... except for the battery charging part lol.
I ponder if they used a small battery and the generator, if it would still end up being a more flexible offroading platform.
