A Jeep is never "finished". What's on your list of wanted upgrades?

I'll start.

- AAL High Line 2.0 Fender Lights (hopefully soon to be released)
- AAL Molle Door Panels
- Armorlite Floor mats
- Rock Slide EZ Rack
- Artec LCA Skids
- Moto bilt Rock Sliders
- Upgrade/re-locate steering stabilizer
- re-mount ARB compressor with new mount
- Replacing 37" KO2s with a set of 37" Cooper STT Pros
- Replacing OEM clutch with either a CFII or ACT

Realistically I'll only get to add the High line lights this year. Everything else is getting pushed to 2024.

Red dash clashes badly with the hydro blue, to me, so re-color dash
Oracle tail lights
35" tires (not until these 33's are at least over 30K miles though)
wider wheels for the new 35's
Maybe a little under armor
Maybe Armorlite flooring, or combo armorlite/Mopar rear floor system
Pixel decals

Get the radios (GMRS / ham) installed and working.
Get the air compressor to the point where it is useable to actually inflate tires.
Get the Jeep off the pavement.
New bumper so I can install the winch that is still in the box in my basement. (Which will probably drive me to do something to compensate for the added weight on the front.)
Get the Jeep off the pavement.
Sway bar disconnects of some kind.
Longer term - figure out my long term config vs. the factory LSD.
Get the Jeep off the pavement.

  • Armorlite for rear wheelhouse covers (already have the front + a weathertech cargo mat)
  • A-pillar ditch lights (cause they look cool, if I'm honest)
  • Mounted GMRS (my handhelds' batteries are going so I might as well upgrade)
  • Rock sliders/steps at some point, but I don't know what I want yet
  • Steel rear bumper (once I find one I like)
  • Remove the 1.5" puck lift and put in a proper suspension. Honestly probably never get to this one. It's proven unnecessary for my usage.

MC Game changer (probably 3.5)
Wheels/tires at same time
Regear depending on tire size
Armorlite (maybe)
Bumpers front and rear
Winch
More armor underneath

There are other things that are cool and I like but I probably won't be making changes unless I have to I.E. something brakes.

Apex Sway Bar discos
Other stuff down the road (just empty every pocket, indeed)

I have the Rock Krawler disconnects on my Sport and now that I have a system down for re-connected they aren't so bad.

The Autolynx disconnects look really nice but are pretty pricey.

Quick disconnects get added and dropped from my list frequently.

Usually when I'm at a trail disconnecting or reconnecting, I think "screw this, next time I get money, that's what I'm buying" and then i get home and look at the prices and I'm like, "You know, it wasn't *that* bad getting up under there, only took a few minutes"

Next few projects for me:
  • Fluid Film, I'll get this done some time in the next week or so
  • Front bumper and winch (winch is in the basement, bumper has been ordered and I'm awaiting its arrival)
  • Tailgate table
  • Rhino Rack Backbone and Platform
  • Overhead front Molle rack, just trying to figure out which one to get
  • Maybe some molle panels for the rear cargo area so I can keep stuff off the cargo area floor
  • Exterior lighting

I'm often occupied, by many things, often at the same time
Probably get another Chapstick to keep in the center console. It's getting kinda low and I don't want to run out on a road trip.

Everything ? I’m itching to start upgrading my Sport S. I’ve had it for over a year and I think I have a better idea of what I want. I’ll start with 35s and new shocks. Getting a new radio would be nice too because the stock one sucks…

I bought this one from Molle Platform Solutions and I really like it. The only issue I have is when I'm sleeping in the back and need to crawl into the front seat to get out I sometimes hit my head on the rack. This is more of a "user error" issue than an issue with the rack itself though.

Pull the hvac controls again to run a USB-c Cable to the A-pillar cause I upgraded to the iphone 15 ... luckily I can just zip tie it to the old one and pull.

Yeah that one is on the shortlist. There was another one I was considering (forget which) that also has a piece that runs the width of the jeep up close to the windshield. My only concern with that is that it would get in the way and potentially be dangerous in an accident due to my height.

Edit, found the other one I was considering:
