2020 eco diesel 33,000 miles. Jeep will not start now. Will crank over but will not fire off. Have p0306, p01D6, p016f codes.
Fuel filter is good, sounds like lift pump is working as usual. Don’t see anything wrong with the wiring harness in the trouble spots. Hpfp recall has been done.
Leaning towards a bad injector flooding the cylinder and not letting build pressure. Any help, suggestions appreciated.
thanks

Sounds like your on the right track, something up with fuel delivery on #6. I would want to see a cylinder contribution test on a scan tool and go from there if I was in your shoes.

Something else I've noticed with the Ecodiesel over the years is they are really weird about battery voltage causing crank no starts, I had one that kicked me and another tech's butt one time that would crank and crank well with no start. Battery had 11.9 volts or so. Threw a fresh one in with 12.2 volts and the thing fired right up. Probably not going to help you though since all 3 of your codes point to fueling issue in #6.

Thanks. Battery 3weeks old, but like you said these jeeps don’t like low voltage

Battery, as in a single battery? They die in pairs and have to be replaced together (assuming you don't nuke the aux). Replacing the main w/o replacing the aux will likely quickly kill the main.

You likely have the #6 injector stuck open. The p01D6 code says fuel is being delivered in advance (Injector open before it should be) and the P016f code is telling you there is little to no fuel pressure in a closed loop. (All injectors expected to be closed).

You can try and unplug #6. It will run with a bad injector, but it won't run with one stuck open. Either way, swap #6 with another cylinder or replace it. You can also measure the resistance across the injector pins to see if it's shorted.

Thank you . That is the plan when I have some time.

If you have a scan tool. I would check to make sure you see rpm go up when cranking and if you have enough fuel pressure. The EcoDiesel needs at least approximately 3500 psi to start.
