Hey guys, I'm driving myself crazy trying to decide what size tire to go with. Current build: '21 JLURD w\ MC 2.5 Gamechanger and Rocksport shocks. Stock wheels with 2" spacers & 35 Cooper STT Pros. I've had this setup for the last year and have been very happy with it.
I now have the parts for the 3.5 Gamechanger and Six Pack shocks, & I'll probably work on installing over the Holiday.
I had my mind made up to go with Trail Ready Beadlocks with 4.5 BS & 37 Trail Grapplers, but after seeing the new 38's, I'm not so sure. They look really good!
My concerns with going to 38's include:
Will 4.5 BS be enough to keep from rubbing? Really don't want to with much less BS that will make steering harder and put more strain on the axle components
Will I have to regear for 38's?
Will I have to upgrade axle shafts, etc...? Was thinking I might do this anyway, but not right away
Will it still fit in the garage with 38's? Pretty sure it will with 37's
Any thoughts or experience with this is much appreciated!
