Jeep jlu engine noises

Is this normal noise for a 3.6L rubicon? This is the first Jeep I’ve had and I’m not familiar with how the engines usually sound. Just wanted to check to see if you guys had any insight before I went to the dealer or a shop. Thanks!

Yes, sounds normal. V6? Mine sounded just like that. Lots of valve noise and ticking from the injectors.

Thanks lol I just noticed it a couple of days ago and didn’t want anything to randomly blow up

I don’t have the bandwidth presently to see the video, but in general there’s more noise with all the engine variants than you may expect.

Speaking of variations, there are a bunch of engine choices, so I recommend updating your signature to indicate what you have. Then you won’t need to answer that question over and over.

Okay I updated and it’s the 3.6L. I’ve seen people on here say theirs is whisper quiet and others have noise so I was just kind of in the middle lol

Noise is subjective. At least unless you're measuring with a db meter. If anyone tells me their Jeep is whisper quiet (any variant), I have to question their hearing ability.
