Hello everyone-
Lately I've been having these emotional ruts. I think it's related to the jeep.
I find myself driving around town and my car is just lost in the crowd.

The handsome full bearded guy in the sup'd up 4runner doesn't even do a double take.
I feel like they used to? But maybe the cruel reality is that they never did.
The bros in the new Broncos don't even seem to acknowledge me and my rig. It makes me feel like I'm driving a prius - small.
The only guy that gives me the time of day is the old gentleman in the stock YJ. But it's just really a simple grandfatherly wave.

My wife and I haven't been intimate in months.
Maybe that has something to do with it, but I feel like I should have sprung on the 37 inch tires and 3 inch lift.
$100k all in on a JLU would probably make me feel better. That's probably the sweet spot.

Or maybe I'll just get a $100k Bronco and then all the guys will start looking again?
37 inch tires would've definitely gotten me laid. Sigh.

In the meantime, I'll just stick some Maxtrax and a shovel to the side of my jeep, turn on my fog lights, and drive around looking for some eye contact.

Well, I guess I'd have to feel the same way for not having my JLUR Order "fully loaded," so to speak: no paint matched fenders and hardtop, Advanced Safety, Xtreme Recon, etc.

I just stuck with the Base Softtop because I plan on going for an aftermarket top instead.... Oh well...

Sounds more like you have a roommate than a wife. I never understood that. I also have to question if the OP actually owns a Jeep Wrangler. Sounds more like an owner of a use Renegade.

I suggest buying an axe, now hear me out, growing a beard, buying a couple flannel button up shirts, get a load of un split wood delivered to the house, then have the wife bring out a cold beer while splitting wood in with his shirt un buttoned with his beard blowing in a gentle breeze with the Jeep playing music in the background. If this doesn't work. He will at least feel better from the exercise and have some split wood.

Note, I am no expert.

Did it work for you? Lol! must have, you guys look pretty content in your pictures. I’ve found out that breakfast served in bed has been a solid go to for me. But then it became a habit and now is expected. But that’s ok, the benefits out way the consequences. My lady is worth it. She bought me my JLR and this xmass a Apple laptop 21.

I love the exterior of the bronco 2 & 4 dr., dislike the interiors.

I.H. should bring back the Scout. Get back in the game.

I love everything about the Bronco except the interior, the fenders, the square hood, it’s lack of articulation, it’s funky transmission, the grill, the seats, the suspension, the sagging soft top, the shortage of aftermarket accessories, its exterior appearance, the color choices, and the people who drive them.
