The Skillet-Lickers are pretty sharp - they know which of dad's toys they can play with and which ones aren't any fun from their perspective. I bet if I welded a bed on the back of one of the 'cars' they'd like it, but they don't even like riding inside the pickum-up truck, they like leaning into the wind, you know, it's a dawg thing. They are always watching dad and know when he's getting ready to go fishing, or hunting, or whatever. Here they saw me getting ready to go mow lawns to get beer money:
They love tagging along while lawn mowing cuz I might scare up a rabbit or squirrel and they know once I finish earning beer money we all go bar hopping. Here they are grabbing what we need while bar hopping:
And as any loyal guard dog, they know to guard dad's seat and watch over dad's beer:
So they know the fun things and sitting in a foo-foo car ain't one of them.
My goal is to train one of them to be a designated driver like this Paul Stanton postcard:
