Thanks. She's had a rough life. Been bitten a few times (most recently by the rescue which has prompted her new ride everywhere status), she's arthritic, has allergies and has had various minor issues over the years (like a broken tooth which comes to mind). Through it all though she has remained very obedient and docile.
A true testament to her breed, I'm told. She doesn't really show it too much now that she's getting old, but she's primarily a Blue Heeler (aka Queensland Heeler). I highly recommend the breed. Very smart, very loyal, and all about her humans. They're not for everyone though. They are high energy and will run you ragged when they're young.
Now that she's old though she's lost a lot of her muscle tone, and much of the energy she had too. Of course I'm not going to cast any stones.... "hi pot, I'm the kettle." Although now she's getting the old dog treatment and is spoiled. Hence the handful of treats for a simple ride.

Here are two of our dogs, although we just added a 5-week old Pug to the mix, Biscuit (Golden Retriever) and Mr Winston as we prepared to drive to one of our local dog parks. They run to the front door if you say "Jeep".

That is sweet. We have a neighbor with an old lab that can’t walk for long so he bought a jogger for kids (one of those big strollers) and takes he’s dogs for walks in it. You’ll see the dog walking for a bit but he’s usually in his stroller with his tail out the back, wagging like crazy. It always makes me smile to see them on the trail.

Ha ha, we've joked about pulling Buckles around in a wagon when the other dogs get their walks.

Kermit, that hammock does look relaxing.
