Thanks. She's had a rough life. Been bitten a few times (most recently by the rescue which has prompted her new ride everywhere status), she's arthritic, has allergies and has had various minor issues over the years (like a broken tooth which comes to mind). Through it all though she has remained very obedient and docile.
A true testament to her breed, I'm told. She doesn't really show it too much now that she's getting old, but she's primarily a Blue Heeler (aka Queensland Heeler). I highly recommend the breed. Very smart, very loyal, and all about her humans. They're not for everyone though. They are high energy and will run you ragged when they're young.
Now that she's old though she's lost a lot of her muscle tone, and much of the energy she had too. Of course I'm not going to cast any stones.... "hi pot, I'm the kettle." Although now she's getting the old dog treatment and is spoiled. Hence the handful of treats for a simple ride.
