I am a faithful JEEP lover. I own a 2019 Jeep J L Wrangler 2 door sport...In 2019 with 10,000 miles ,two new new camshafts....and after much adou with Jeep wave cares program ( 5 Vista to dealer), the camshafts, known to Stellantis as poorly heat treated,
Replaced .Now in 2023 Oil cooler leak with 24,000 miles......Called Jep Wave (cares) program....crickets...nada nothing after week and a half....multilevel return calls...nada....,so I paid for a new Dorman metal oil cooler out of pocket,as well as labor, trying to get jeep to pay for half or all of labor...I'll absorb part cost. They know Oil cooler and O rings fail (case #S180900007 Rev C, June 2021 Star online publication) no return calls...nada nothing......Anybody who knows the Jeep brand now knows build quality is lacking .Jeep Wave Cares program very sub par unfortunately..
..what happened in 3 short years...Jeep Cares Wave program tanked...
I waited to get a Jeep for 30 years and now have the build quality of my my 74 Vega G.T, and warranty , extended warranty service, and follow up by Jeep Wave (Cares ) staff which is below sub par. Terribly disappointed...I hate Ford. But amconsidering it,the dreaded Crazy Horse Suv...Shame on your Jeep and Jeep Cares

Jeep's atrocious customer service has been in the making for MANY years.

I owned Jeeps for 25 years: things started to go south noticeably after FCA was officially formed in 2014, and got progressively worse.

I don't care how much I love Wranglers, things have gotten to the point that you couldn't pay me to set foot at my local Jeep dealer. They are a collection of sons of bitches.

I hope you get things resolved.

Good luck.

PS - sorry to say: Ford customer service is only marginally better; product quality ranks worse.

I guess I feel a little better about not getting my third free oil change because I didn't put enough miles on.

Why is the oil cooler not covered under the 5yr 60k power train warranty? I understand and agree that customer service is not great but if you want them to cover the cost you have to work their system. They are not going to give you $$$ for using aftermarket parts (Dorman ).

Should be renamed Jeep waves at you as they go by and doesn't care...my 74 Vega was better....I hate bbabying a piece of mach
That sucks, but if it's that horrible, just move on. You don't need to justify to others why you'd rather have a Bronco.
I got stuck in Florida at st George Island in my Vega and drooled planned and schemed for a Jeep even visited the Toledo plant where my parents live several times
...24 000 miles filters changed at 3k,fluids always topped off and I baby it.... and it falls to s***.
Unconscionable. ...at best

Your experience underscores a concerning trend where large companies seem to lose touch with customer care as they grow. This shift often becomes more noticeable and frustrating for customers who have been loyal and had high expectations based on the brand's reputation. Unfortunately, there's a real concern that Jeep may not give these issues the attention they deserve, which could lead to further decline in customer satisfaction and service quality

Sucks, but the auto industry as a whole for many consumers is a blighted mess.

If manufacturers can make and gainfully sell $100k+ vehicles that break down, have all sorts of electrical issues and are basically a pain to deal with through their life of ownership, then they can also make "cheaper" vehicles the same way and it's been working for them for decades.

I think the exception to the "norm" are the people who have relatively problem-free experiences in ownership, especially during those "freebie" periods of time along with factory warranty.

Leasing hasn't helped either. People and dealers sell each other on the "2-3 years and you don't have to deal with it anymore" ideology that helps them buy MUCH more expensive makes than they can ACTUALLY afford. Then you see dealer and auction lots filled with late model throw away off-leases ?

It incentivizes manufacturers to keep a facade of "tech" and "innovation" while they still roll out vehicles that they can cheap out on as much as possible before we notice...or it's too late to do anything about it ?

Dare I ask if you attempted going through the dealer to get it resolved? I know many hate the Jeep dealers with a passion. Others have good dealerships they can rely on. I am one of the fortunate ones with a quality dealership. They have never failed to help me and resolve whatever issue I had. Perhaps you have a bad dealer locally that could/would not help you out?
