It's been a few weeks since I bought her. What's been done thus far...

Removed hardtop (stowed in garage) put on soft top.
Wheels n Tires (decided on the chrome wheels).
Tinted windshield (silver) and front side doors (20% black).
Automatic electric step rails (raise/lower when the doors close/open).
Spare tire tailgate mount to compensate for the larger tire.
Bad a$$ alarm, no details

Still to do...
Upgrade the stereo.

Spray the mirrors, tail light mounts, n door handles to color match (a weekend project). And maybe the bumpers?
Apply a ceramic coating.

Great looking ride, mine is on a rail car as we speak. What brand automatic rails did you use? Did you do the install? Boxs

Thank You Very Much 🙂

AMP Research Power Step XL, model 77132-01A. They drop 3" lower than the original version, and I'm definitely glad I went that route! Also, be sure to get the bypass switch, sold separately. Yes, I did the install. No shops locally had them or could get them timely. Luckily I bought the last one's in that model off of Amazon. Not sure if/when more will be available. There are other models but not sure it'll satisfy a short human.

I took my time, the directions were kinda patchy so I had to fill in with 'what makes sense' and keep an eye on the remaining bolts n nuts as to not end up with a few left over, lol. 7 hours, I started it late Saturday morning and finished that evening. Another 2 hours on Tuesday to put the switch in. It arrived after the rails. No double work as the switch wires ran a different way than the rail wires.

It's a 50% silver, so it's a bit more translucent, it let's more light pass through the film. A silver film works different than a charcoal/black. It reflects heat/light vs a black that absorbs the heat/light. A tinted windshield in silver greatly helps with oncoming headlight staring effects at night. Not to mention it looks pretty trick and people can't see in very easily. In all reality a car can stay cooler with a 50% silver vs a less translucent 20% black, it's just that silver film on the side windows isn't cosmetically appealing on most cars where a black film almost always looks great. Silver looks GREAT on the windshield though!!!

Thanks! Thats what I was wondering about. I have 5% on all other windows and my front is untouched but the Wife always complains about the sun in front and thought about having a 5% sun strip but it wouldn't be low enough to please her. The A-holes around here drive with their brights on at night, so I guess with that thought will the 50% do any good for the sun that she complains about? SIDE NOTE: I dont really care about the ppl driving with brights thats why i put aftermarket LED and hit em with my brights *upgraded fog lights too but inverted them so they point up hehehe really blinding when I need to return the A-hole flavor 🤩

Would you help me out with the wiring diagram for the 4 wires

Sure, the 4 wires were hard for me as well. My eyes simply could not see the wire colors, more specifically the colored strip, i.e. violet/WHITE, violet/Grey. I could see the violet yellow and the plane violet.

They really are there though. Just be aware. There are actually 3 plug-ins. I disconnected 2 plugs totally unaware of the 3rd, and the 3rd plug was the one I needed. You only need to disconnect 2 plugs though (for an easier access to tap into the wires) the White and Blue plug. The wires are truly small. See the chart, it's pretty straight forward.

E.g. Driver Front Input - Purple (this on the AMP 'brain' taps into the Jeep's white CONNECTOR's violet wire.

I'd suggest putting a little piece of tape to mark the 4 wires you need to tap into on the Jeep. This way you can go through all the wires just to make sure you don't see a violet gray wire that looks more violet gray than the one you picked. There's a bunch of wires in there, all very thin, so make sure you have good lighting. I initially tapped into a wrong wire and nothing fried, thank goodness. My 19 year old son with eyes that same age was able to find my violet gray wire, this the hardest wire for me to identify.

Thankyou Justin for taking the time to respond. Do you have any pictures of the wiring by chance
I'm sorry. No, I didn't take any pictures. I did google search it, "Jeep Wrangler 2020 Door Triggers", (as it's the same wire schematics) and found some pictures and videos. But in the end that helped very little. I did considers it but again the wires are so small.

I may not have mentioned but I'd suggest disconnecting all 3 connectors from the Body Computer, or whatever that computer box thing does, although only 2 of the connectors are needed to tap into. After doing such the whole wiring assembly is able to drop down to the floor for a much easier access. From there cut the electrical tape back a few inches to separate the wires for better wire separation and find/look.

OH MY!!! TAKE NOTE!!! ::: Ok, I just took a better look at the wire diagram pictures I sent you. These pics I actually google searched as I couldn't find the install manual that came with my steps (it's in the garage somewhere.?.) I kept mentioning there are only 2 connectors you'll access to tap into, and that is correct; however, the diagram I sent you is showing a White, Blue, and Black connector that entails where the wires are to be located. IT IS ONLY THE WHITE AND BLUE connectors that harness the wires you need. The connector labeled Black should actually be labeled White. You need to find the violet yellow wire in the white connector's harness. So, your AMP's Passenger Rear Input (yellow wire) taps into the Jeep's Passenger Rear white connector's violet yellow wire.

When I get home from work I'll find the actual install manual and take a pick and post it just to make sure there isn't anything else that's incorrect. I'm confident I'm correct; although, I'm relying off of memory at the moment. In the meantime you may check on your side that the white connector harness has the violet yellow wire, if that's what's been holding you up.
More to follow...

Justin when you're talking about 3 connectors you are saying the ones connected directly to the body control module on the passenger kick panel
