The JL windshields are more prone to cracks then any vehicle I have ever owned. Consider a lower deductible for glass or comprehensive insurance coverage.

Soft top windows are sensitive. The snow/ice will fall off when it is ready. Don't use an ice scraper or brush that will scratch them up.

And yes, the soft top is fine in the winter.

...stop bitchin' about the steering.

...realize your available credit will be all gone soon.

...you are not wierd because you constantly stare at it.

...you will be told "nice Jeep" all the time.

...you will be asked, "did you buy it like that? Or did you do that?"

...seats are uncomfortable.

...dont call it a car or refer to the cargo area as a trunk.

...yes, 4 wheel drive is awesome in the snow, but slow down.

...shit will break.

...refrain from installing cheap china product.

...takes pictures or it didnt count.

...request the FULL manual.

...your rear window will leak when it rains.

...wave back.

...I could go on for days

When wheeling, DO NOT SPOT SOMEONE UNLESS THEY ASK FOR A SPOT!!! The fun of wheeling is looking ahead and picking a line, and trying to make it work. Nothing pisses me off more than someone jumping in and trying to spot when I didn’t ask for help. Or worse, 2 or 3 dipshits all barking out directions, especially if on a dicey obstacle. Makes me want to throat punch a bunny.

It seems like this thread started off in left field. Jeep 101 (or OP may actually mean Wrangler JL 101) should be the very basic...some of the best advice I have read on Jeeps would include:

1. Do not use your 4wd on dry, solid surfaces that do not allow for some slipping or wheel adjustments especially while turning.
2. Never wheel alone.
3. Wave.

I 100% flatly reject "Dont wheel alone" This saying originates from 0% risk people.

How about these guidelines instead:
1) Know your limitations.
2) Know your Jeeps limitations.
3) Don't be an idiot.
4) Go prepared.

Same here. I like to head out to the woods and trails by myself. Sure, I pay attention and don't get in over my head but being in the wilderness alone is a great experience. Also, I like your signature:like: >>> My Jeep is neither a "rig" nor a "build". I'm not "rocking" or "running" anything either.

Don’t forget about the two best features that come standard with every Jeep; the history and brotherhood of Jeep.

This might seem hokey to some, but if you don’t know the history of Jeep; go read about it. You didn’t just buy an incredible vehicle, you bought into a tradition. The interwebs are full of Jeep origin stories that are great reads; take some time and walk through the creation and evolution of Jeep.

Secondly, the brotherhood is real. I’m on Jeep number three and it’s amazing the stories I’ve heard. These can range from my 103 year old Grandma (who past earlier this year) fondly remembering driving around in an army jeep with my Grandpa during WWII. To the guy down the street talking about the CJ he had in high school. In both cases, you could feel the connection they had to the Jeeps; you’re part of that now.

Anyway, I don’t think this is what Buckster (OP) meant by Jeep 101; so feel free to delete if it doesn’t match the spirit of the post.
