Yeah, 1 tire at a time when I do rotations as I use my spare as the 5th.
I don't care how well made the jack stands are, they'll never be as stable as wheels on the ground. Why are we lifting the front and rear at the same time? Even when installing full lift kits I'll do one axle at a time. That way even if you have to really lean into something to get it lined up the rig is still solidly on the ground on 1 end. If it's simple tire rotations, I start with the passenger rear where the spare rotates to and never need more than 1 tire off at a time.
When I do tire rotations, I don't get under the jeep, so no stands most of the time. I'll sometimes either use two floorjacks to pick up both axles on one side or my offroad jack to raise the body/chassis on one side enough to get those tires off the ground. Wheels on opposite side chocked, of course.

I've taken to using a spade shovel to maneuver the 37s around onto the studs. It keeps me from getting under the vehicle and it's easier than using my feet to lift onto the studs.

I agree on keeping 2 tires on the ground.

In the garage I use a hydraulic table to raise and lower the spare and a wheel dolly to move the wheels. The wheel dolly lets you align the wheel with the studs easily. On the trail well…I’ll just suffer the following day.

The newer style Harbor Freight 6 ton Daytona jack stand specs claim “Complies with ASME-PASE standards” ? I’m assuming that’s a satisfactory rating?
