My current jack stands are just over 23 inches and my current floor jack can lift up to 19 inches. Is this high enough to install a 2.5 inch lift in my jeep?

Just a thought. You can stack a couple of patio pavers or get a piece of 2X8 or 2x10? lumber. Have them cut it to make 2 pads for your stands and one for your jack. If you use pavers, slap a few dabs of construction adhesive in between each paver and if you're going the lumber route, nail them together. My $.02
Then again, you can go out and purchase a new higher lifting jack and jack stands. LOL

So I'm guessing that what I have isn't tall enough?

If I need to, I'm going the wood block route. I've got the 6 ton jack stands. The bigger ones are huge and expensive!

Depending on where you place your stands you’ll need a lot of ground clearance to allow the suspension to fully droop. It also gives you plenty of room to comfortably maneuver around under there to work, especially if you’re big.

Best of luck and if you can, post some pics of your work before, during and after. GM

Pipe stands FTW. Generally rated 2000-2500# ea. Ridgid tends to be the least expensive.

If you ever wanna treat yourself get an AC Hydraulics DK20HLQ, but at ~$700 they ain't cheap.

Sunex offers a decent low profile jack that goes to 24" for sub-$200 on Amazon, not terrible. The difference between the ubiquitous ~19" lift jacks and 24" is more significant in real life than it looks on paper
