Finally...a new type of jack without all of the 100 year old design...the weight, the long lift arm, the fighting with the up/down lever, and the accidental abrupt clattering descent.

Wow. Almost $800. I think I would prefer one of their fridges first and keep the hi-lift for now.

Absolutely gorgeous and useful. But damn that’s expensive! Almost twice the price of their twin compressor??? That doesn’t make sense. It’s just a hydraulic piston and valve with a handle to actuate it. I’ll give them $350.

That might be a good point. I seem to remember having encountered some hydraulic jacks that did not work well horizontally. I had never looked into the design of them, but before that, I had thought that they would be position independent.

I'm not so sure that this jack is a complete replacement for a hi-lift type jack. Having grown up on a ranch, we had farm jacks similar to the hi-lift for probably as long as I can remember. The design hasn't really changed, so I'm thinking it's a case of why change something that works?

Nope, looks good as an improvement on the HiLift--BUT

It would make the HiLift TYPE use more LACKADAISICAL and being HYDRAULIC it has VALVES(enclosed), so temperatures/heat can reduce the operations--

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for an occasional use tool--

Whatever
