I have an Ecodiesel and installing a 2.5 Rock Krawler Adventure series lift for the diesel. The rear passenger spring popped in like a charm but the drivers side has been impossible. I have the axle dropped all the way. I put another jack under the passenger side to try to tilt the axle. Looking for other tricks before I rent a spring compressor. I only need about a half inch.

Did you loosen the control arm nuts? If not you're fighting them and they won't be set to your new ride height. Retorque them with tires on the ground.

Need pics of your current situation.

No. I wondered about it but saw nothing about it, including in the RK instructions . I didn't remember doing that on my JK. So should that be just axle side or frame side too? Upper and lower? Thanks!

May be a stupid question, but did you remember to disconnect the sway bar?

I was fighting like crazy in a similar situation until I realized I hadn’t disconnected it on the side I was working on! Alternatively, are you likited by any brake lines, parking brake cable, axle breathing tube or similar?

Have your buddy/wife/dog/grandma push down on the drivers side while you slide the spring in. After you crank up the PS like you said.

Bingo, I think that is it. Everything was still lose but I had reconnected the sway bar after putting the relocation bracket in. I just went back to the instructions and see where I got off track. Unfortunately RKs instructions combine all their midarm kits Adventure series into one document, not segregated by lift. You have to determine if each step is for you or not based on parts and height. I just started with a basic kit. If this doesn't work I will try the other suggestions Thanks to everyone!

Shouldn’t need to disconnect the track bar. Disconnect the sway bar and shock from that corner and you should be good.

So at the point of trouble, the only thing that was connected was the rear track bar, which was not tightened up yet, and the passenger side spring was in place. The sway bar end links were not installed yet, so wasn't the sway bar as I thought last night. I disconnected the track bar this morning and re-applying the tilt using a bottle jack on the passenger side, I was able to get the spring in place. Everything in the rear is back together now, and am off to the front now. I always started in the back on my JKs because of reusing the rear sway bar end links in the front. I am probably going to put quick disconnects in the front in the next few weeks but for now just want the lift and my new tires on. I appreciate everyone's input.

When you go to do the front, disconnect everything, including the front driveshaft. Otherwise, you'll run into similar issues.

I'm installing a 3.5" GameChanger on a Gladiator today. If you need help, you can reach out to me - 3364429463

Curious how long the free length of your springs were? About to install 16 inch ones in the rear and 19’s in the front wondering how tight of a squeeze it’ll be

My front ones are 22 and about to be put on. Back ones were already on but the new ones were about 3" longer and the old ones are 14, so around 17.

Cool thank you, snapped my upper shock mount bolt so that’s how my lift install is going
