A Faraday bag for your fob is a must when traveling. Especially so if you stay at any places where you park outside the door of you room, as the key is close enough to scan it’s signal.

I live in Ontario Canada. Just had my 4XE stolen from driveway in 4 minutes. Reprogrammed Key well away from access. Have great clear video. Took 4 minutes. Fortunately Quebec police caught guy 2 hours away. Need something to lock hood and kill switch.

Ravelco anti theft device
That's what I did and my jeep is worth the cost
We are comparing IGLA and Ravelco. Can I ask why you chose Ravelco? It would be easier for us to get installed but struggling with the choice.

Ravelco comes to your place and installs and is a mechanical device
IGLA sounds like a digital device. Things could go wrong beyond your control
Ravelco. Only I know how and where to by pass if there is a problem

There's a (probably correct) perception that soft top Wranglers get broken into more often than most cars. But as far as cars getting stolen I haven't seen any list that indicates Wranglers are more susceptible than common economy cars.

Have proper insurance, and park your truck in places you'd feel comfortable leaving any car. Outside of that, there isn't a whole lot you can do.
Indeed. Have soft top.
Leave doors unlocked for the sake of hopefully the would-be thieves will try the doors before cutting into the top.
I just don't keep anything really expensive in there that isn't bolted down.

Can things get fucked up or stolen or mangled or whatever, sure. But, I have a manual and really only park at places I'm cool with.

Work, home, grocery store, random gas stations because ya know...she thirsty.

YMMV

I want to install Ravelco in my 392. I have taped Apple air tags inside the fuse box covers of all my Jeeps. Will conduct future travel with a faraday bag.

I found a quick, cheap and genius anti theft device for the jeep and also added hood locks after reading about them here. It’s a smart relay which you put into the starter circuit or the fuel circuit. Couldn’t be easier. Not as secure as IGLA/Compustar or Ravelco but it will still slow someone down.

Mobilistics. Looks like a simple and inexpensive devise. I like it
If it fails you could simply plug the factory relay back in
I may get one for my Wife's stock Rubicon
Put for my Willys with 30k in upgrades I like the piece of mind of the Ravelco
Hopefully thieves haven't heard of the Mobilistics and carry a relay

Wranglers are subject to the same theft vulnerabilities the challengers/chargers suffer from - and worse still, there is no fix offered by Stelantis like they did for the hellcats.

Like a remote kill switch, cool idea.

They should really offer a firmware update that fixes this key programming fiasco.

Exactly! Why someone lives where they do is complicated. Employment often being at the top of the list, followed by a long list of reasons. But having a vehicle stolen is not high on the list of reasons to relocate. San Diego offers a lot of great things. Temperate climate, no tornados or baseball sized hail being some of the advantages.

Don't forget us TRX guys. They get stolen all the time.

IGLA if you want to keep the remote start, Rev if you want to save money. They can still flat tow you, no fix for that.
