IPhone 14 Pro & Jeep Issues

Just got my IPhone 14 pro which is replacing my 12 pro. I have been using my 12 without any problems in my 21 & now 22 Rubi. Via USB-C to Lightning port for CarPlay. Apparently when answering or making calls now with the iPhone 14, every caller can barely hear me… again my iPhone 12 Pro & this powering source worked flawlessly. I doubt my cable went bad. Anybody else with a new 14 having issues?

Enable the phone to adjust volume with the volume buttons in phone settings. Some dingbat at Apple thought turning off the volume-control-via-volume-buttons by default was a good idea.

Apple will release a slew of updates for the new phone like they do every time they release any new hardware.
Yep, it blows for now. But they’ll fix it shortly.

^^^This^^^...just received my 14 Pro Max and ran into the same issue until I made a few adjustments. Works great now!

Haven’t tried CarPlay yet, but Apple released iOS 16.0.2 last night (Thursday 9/22/22) for a bunch of bug fixes.

No problems here thankfully, other than the damn rear camera is too big to fit on the Qi charger I used with my 12Pro. Going to have to get a smaller pad to fix that.
