I have a 14 Pro, plugged in to the front console with a nice usb C to lightning cable. ‘22 4xe Sahara. Zero issues.
When I had my iPhone XS, that phone cut out from time to time with the uconnect 4. And it never really worked in the center console. So I got a 67 design dash mount and plus into the front. Happy with it. Often times the cable in these situations is bad. The cheaper cables, like gas station cables, don’t hold up well. Worth spending a few bucks more on a good one.
