Hi all....just picked this up a couple weeks ago. Seemed like I searched forever for a 2 dr manual Rubi in a color I could handle. Finally found one that was acceptable in KY and shipped to CO. Not super loaded (ie plastic bumper, no tow package, no aux switches) but plan on pulling bumper off soon anyway. Do need to get a towing package installed. Was going to do myself but after viewing a few threads here the wiring may make me crazy. First thing though is getting some side step/bar set up for my better half. ACE sliders will be on the way soon.

Hi. Nice to meet everybody.
Picking up our pretty basic soft top granite crystal Sport Unlimited today.
My wife had a brand new 87 Wrangler when we first dated, and in a fit of nostalgia we looked at the JL and loved it. We’re using it mostly for beach duty so the base model felt like the appropriate old skool way to roll. (Though my wife pointed out that the base model feels positively loaded compared to her ‘87 ).

Hi Everyone,

I live in the Lehigh Valley and I just ordered my first Jeep. Thanks to this forum, I've learned a lot about them and I'm really excited to get it delivered. I'm new to Jeeps and off roading, I'll be using this forum to find other people in the area who I might be able to join up with to go off roading.

Look on Facebook for Jeep enthusiasts of eastern pa. It’s a pretty large group in the area. I’m in the valley as well.


Just got my JL the other day. Came from a jk that was pretty built up. Can wait to work on this one but probably won’t go as crazy as I did before.

I'm a new member from just north of Pittsburgh. Yesterday was a busy day...I sold my current car and bought a beater to drive until my new '19 Rubicon arrives (Mojito). I just put in the order yesterday...so I know it'll be a while. I'm happy with my deal..loaded for $51,999 including fees, etc (everything except sales tax).

Greetings Wranglers! Just bought my first jeep a week ago, JLUR in Orange with the 2.0T. Absolutely LOVE the new Wrangler and spent the weekend in the local mountains. Seems you couldn't throw a stone without hitting a Wrangler up there! Located in the Southern California area!

Greetings from Northern California, been lurking here for a while. Ordered a Rubicon in early October. This will be our first Jeep, and we're really looking forward to it. We've done plenty of wheeling in the snow, my inlaws are in Truckee, and we're there often. Planing a trip to Moab around April/May.

Greetings from SE Michigan. I'm planning on ordering a JLU in the not too distant future and getting as much info as I can beforehand. I'm not new to Jeeps.. I've wanted one since I was about five years old (1967) and we used to take trips in the mountains out west. I'd see dirt roads and wonder where they led... that's stuck with me all these years. Last year I rented a Wrangler on a trip to Colorado and decided that's what my next vehicle would be. I don't really NEED anything new yet, but they don't exactly give these things away so it makes sense to buy one BEFORE I retire... I told my wife I was going to wait until the Bronco came out before I buy anything but I'm not so sure that's going to happen...

I've never owned a Wrangler but am not new to Jeeps. In the mid '90s I designed OEM exhaust systems for them. Driving test vehicles around led to me buying an XJ. Built to order, two door, 4.0L, 5 speed, I loved that thing but eventually the time came to move on. However my wife is on her third Grand Cherokee now and plans on buying number four in a year or so.

I'd mention what I'm planning on ordering but the details on that change so often it seems a bit silly at this point!

Hey guys glad to be here from central Oregon. I’m a life long Jeep owner, Mopar Technician/aftermarket offroad parts consultant/fabricator/builder and love to be on the trail whether following, leading, trail repairs, or walking and spotting a group through to the end. I love exploring and meeting new jeep enthusiast. We’re waiting arrival of our new 2019 JLUR and ready to start the build and hitting the trails. We’ve got our annual family Christmas tree hunt/snow run coming the first of December and hope to be doing this in our JL. I’ve been without my JK for almost 6 months. Looking forward to sharing my JL journey with you guys. Really hoping the JT just doesn’t do it for me in a few weeks. I’d hate to have to wait even longer lol

Hello. Been loooking on here for awhile, but just signed up now that I know Iwas going to order a new one to repace my '14 JKUR.

I had several jeeps over the years and am currently building a '79 CJ5.

I'm Military and am in NNY and am getting ready to move to Kansas. I went ahead an ordered my new JLUR from Omaha, NE. Hopefully it will be ready for pick up when I visit family inbetween moves.
