Because I thought that your INTRO was in Spanish. But now I see that you are in Italy, my bad. I wasn't sure, if you knew English. So, I was trying to accommodate you. :)

Hey everyone!

My name’s Dan. I’m new here, but definitely not new to Wranglers. If you’re up for hearing my Jeep journey, here it goes:

Back in 2018, I first laid eyes on a two-door JL in Punk’n Orange, and instantly thought, that’s it — that’s the one. I ended up getting it, and for a few great years, it was my daily driver and occasional beach truck.

Then life happened — marriage, a house, and a couple of kids later — and I had to make the tough but practical decision to let my Punk’n two-door go. I thought about keeping it as a toy, but ultimately did the responsible thing and sold it.

I went full dad mode and got a Subaru Forester Wilderness. Awesome car, super capable — but it just wasn’t a Wrangler. After about a year and a half, I traded it in for a blacked-out four-door JL, which I aptly named Orlok.

I joined this community to learn from you all and get a better handle on everything I don’t know yet. I’ll be using my Jeep as a daily driver and family car, with summer beach trips and some light camping. As much as I love seeing all the big builds with lifts and 37s+, that’s not where I’m headed (at least not yet 😅). For now, I plan on keeping it mostly stock with a few cosmetic touches, slightly bigger tires, and a rack setup down the road.

Thanks for reading if you made it this far! Pumped to be here and excited to start this new adventure with Count Orlok.

Hello!

Long time lurker on the forum and finally decided to join. Been a Jeep lover for over a decade starting with Grand Cherokees. Got my first Wrangler in 2021, Sarge Green 392, and traded it for a beautiful Silver Zynith 20th anniversary 392 in 2023. Loved the red/black interior on the 20A so I went for it. She's my summer fun drive toy and a pavement princess, never seen snow or the bull come they put on the roads during Iowa winters. ❄❄❄

Luv driving a Wrangler so much I recently picked up a new to me 2023 High Tide edition in Hydro Blue so I can have a year round Wrangler. Also have two Grand Cherokees, a 2013 Trailhawk and a 2015 Summit.

I find a lot of good (and not so good) information from the forum, so I finally joined up. Happy Jeepin!

Hello from Nova Scotia. Been a Jeep guy all my life. Learned to drive in my dad's '52 Willys. Took my drivers test at 16 in a 1969 Commando V6. Grew up driving my dad's Grand Wagoneers. I've owned Comanches, XJ Cherokees, ZJ, WJ and WK Grand Cherokees. Then I moved to the KL Cherokee. I just traded my 2020 KL Trailhawk with only 18,000 miles on this new 2025 Willys. 2.0 Turbo and fully loaded including Safety Tec.

New member, 1st post. Old couple, we just bought a 25 Sahara for our journeys. Wife had a Patriot for 165,000 miles, I’ve been a Mopar guy most of my life.

Did I mention it’s Joose?

Thanks for having us.

I used to play guitar in Queen Creek back in the 70’s. Lived in Apache Jct.

I don’t remember Cave Creek.
Welcome to the Forum, from Cave Creek AZ.
Congrats on your new wrangler!

You were in the south and then the east of Phoenix. Cave Creek is North of Phoenix.

Hello from south-west Germany,
we are proud owners of a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Sahara 2.8CRD which is a bit modified for offroad ;-) and one year ago we dived into the adventure of buying a 2nd hand Jeep Wrangler JL Sahara 4xe (2021). So far only the well known recalls and no severe trouble yet.
We love both our Wranglers and life is too short to drive "normal" and "reasonable" cars :)

Hi, I’m curious what color your JK is there? I like the way it looks with the color-matched hardtop. I have a granite metallic 2-door JL that looks very similar and i’ve been kicking around the idea of getting a color-matched hardtop.

Jeep Wrangler JL Sahara 4xe (2021) and Jeep Wrangler JK Sahara 2.8CRD
The JK is indeed Granite Cristal and as Version is Sahara, the hardtop and fenders are painted in Granite Crystal, too. As I use the JK for offroad the painted fenders are "stored in a safe place" while I put some old (self sprayed in matt black) fenders on. So that scratches doesn't hurt so hard;-).
It is an European version of the JK with 2.8 CRD diesel engine. Very relaxed offroad driving with torque at low RPM.
