Hello All! I have been lurking on this forum for months looking and learning about Jeeps. This really is a passionate and informative community. Thanks for all of the negative and positive feedback it really helped my in purchasing a Jeep. Picked up this 2025 Rubicon X got a great deal on Labor Day sale.

I've been on the forum for a couple of weeks and realized I hadn't posted a proper introduction.

My name is Doug and I live in Oregon. I recently purchased a 2025 2dr V6 6-speed Willys. Before this I had a Bronco (Badlands w/ Sasquatch package) and somehow I let that one get away from me. Yet while I owned the Bronco, I couldn't stop thinking about Jeeps. The 2-dr Wrangler is such a perfect, minimalist, timeless design. Even though the Bronco was in every way a superior off-roader, the Jeep just appealed to me on a visceral, emotional level.

The Bronco had all the bells and whistles (front/rear lockers, sway bar disconnect, trail turn assist, drive modes, etc) while the Willys has a rear locker and a clutch that, ahem, takes some getting used to. But you know what? I'm having MORE FUN THAN EVER in the Willys! Happy to be a part of the club!!

2 DOOR WRANGLER JL
Hi everyone. I'm Aaron, and I just ordered a 2 Door Rubicon soft top in Reign on the 13th. It will be my second Wrangler, I previously had a 2 door JK Sahara. Being 6'8 I'll more be wearing it than driving it but on my test drive I didn't find it too cramped. Hell, I used to have a Miata years ago. It's going to be our 3rd vehicle, my wife has a 4 door Bronco and I'm keeping my Ram for hauling and any long trips.

Can't wait for it to arrive!

Welcome! Good looking Jeep! My only advice would be to drive it for a while before deciding on Mods and get used to what it will do and what needs improvement. I have a 392 also and I love it!

My wife actually loves it!!! Which is a plus.
That's definitely a big plus! My wife loves mine but doesn't particularly like driving it. She's just happy riding shotgun and reading her kindle :)

New Jeep owners here in KS picked up a 23 high tide as the wife’s daily driver. Hope to do some mods down the road and plenty of fun.
