Howdy - new to the JL but not new to Wranglers...pic of my old manual-everything JK from 8-9 years ago up in the Beartooth mountain range in MT.

Anyway, figured I'd join because I'm relatively close to putting in an order on a 4 door, so that we can resume doing cross-country road trips out there in a Jeep now that we have kids.

Still trying to figure out which spec I want - leaning toward the Willys, based on the improvements it got for '24, but I'm still open to any of them at this point.

Well, I have an update to this - ended up pulling the trigger on a leftover '23 Rubicon two weeks ago (at what I think is a fairly good deal).

It's what I would think to be a farily oddball spec - no convenience, safety, or LEDs but has towing, V6, and obviously the body color highline flares. Conceded on just getting the automatic - it is a very good auto. I still have one car that has a manual (Mk7 GTI) - so as long as I have one in the household I'm good.

Already have a set of Mopar OEM LED headlights ready to install. Just waiting to hear back if my purchasing dealer is going to be blow me off or not with regard to the software update needed after. Undecided if I will go JScan route if they do blow me off. I'm more experienced with VWs and VAG-com, but something about these android/iOS based tools weirds me out. We'll see.

Other than that, the only other pressing thing for me would be getting rid of the horrid red dash. I may take the dive on that Launch edition Gladiator dash, as the red stitching would match the rest of the interior. We'll see though.

Hi all, new to the Jeep community and the forum. Actually, I can't say that I'm new to it since I don't think I qualify yet (not a Jeep owner yet). Hopefully in a few months though.

Lived in VA, FL, and now in NY. Was in the city for 10 years but moved to the outskirts and instead of renting a vehicle to go camping, hope to do that with a new Wrangler next year. We like spending time up in Lake George area but definitely plan on hitting some trails on Hunter/Gore mountain and expand from there.

Excited to be here and hopefully I will have experiences (and photos) to share soon!

Hi all, new to this forum. Im from LA looking to get my first jeep (weekend toy) as soon as 2.0T engines available to order. Im set on Rubicon with extreme tire package and planing on hit some trails in CA. Looking forward to Jeep ownership and being part of the community.

What’s up folks! Welp, I’m back in a jeep! Recently sold my Galdiator for a ford raptor. After some issues I found my way back into a 2023 extreme recon and it feels good to be home again!

From Texas and Arizona originally. Been in Montana for about 5 years. I learned to wheel in Tucson on a 1st generation Tundra. Finally bit the bullet and bought my very own jeep. Just ordered a Mopar 2" lift kit with fox shocks, and sliders and bumpers from Barnes 4WD. I can tell already this is going to be a money pit. And I'm here for it.

I’m guessing it’s somewhat safe to say that, based on the UAW strike, and your build date, that there’s about a four or more week delay in transporting?

Thank you! So it was built September 12th and shipped the 15th. Really lucked out just before the strike. Arrived earlier this week on October 9th. I’m in Austin, TX so that might explain the long shipping time?

Checking in from MA, recently picked up a '23 JLUR XR, absolutely love this thing!

Had pickup trucks all my life, then about 5 years back I picked up an Audi A6 with the supercharged 3.0 V6. Tuned that and absolutely loved it, but it was frankly too boring to drive normally. While not a true "fast Audi" by any means, 477 hp and my best 0-60 time of 3.56 seconds it was pretty quick. Living in the densely populated area I do, everyone doing 5 under the speed limit it just got to be too frustrating to drive. Also not a great vehicle for scuba diving, hunting etc. which I like to do. Made the switch to the Jeep about a month ago and loving it!

Howdy from Minnesota. Picked up my first modern wrangler, a 2021 392. This will serve as my DD and weekend worrier since I sold the dedicated trail scrambler.

Trying not to go too wild, but the mods so far are:

• MORE Al engine skid
• MORE xfer skid
• Metal cloak diff cover and skids
• Rear shock skids
• Warn bull bar
• Ironman raid rear bumper
• Clayton 2.5 lift springs and control arms
• Fox 2.5 shocks
• Midland gmrs
• LOD armor lite sliders
• Ram mount on dash for radio and phone
• Custom high clearance muffler tips

It had the zeon winch and Baja Design lights on it when I bought it.

Only had a chance to wheel it a couple of times since buying it this summer, but loving it so far.

Hi there, Austin from TX here. Got my JL 2d Sport 2.0 about a year ago and been pretty happy with it ever since. I bought it used and fell in love cuz it’s got manual everything except the transmission. The soft top is nice and all that too. Ended up dumping some money into right out of the gate to fix the unfortunate RC lift that the previous owner had put on (about to do springs and a trailer lighting kit). Lookin forward to being a part of this community and maybe even contributing something useful eventually.

Hi All,
Adam from PA, I currently drive a 2010 Liberty Sport but have a '24 Wrangler Sport S on order. Looking forward to having a wrangler. The wrangler will be my 1st wrangler but my 3rd jeep overall as I started out with a '98 Grand Cherokee that unfortunately got totaled and then bough my current '10 Liberty.
