My name is Andrew. Bought my first ever Wrangler this past Saturday. A slightly used 2021 Rubicon 392. (3,200 miles). I’m in love with it. It‘s so much fun. Looking forward to learning so much more about it and getting many opportunities to enjoy it for years to come.

Side note: My name ‘Reign-gler’ is a play on words from the 23 Reign colored 4xe I almost bought first. Walked away after I discovered a significant transmission leak. I reached out to the admins to see about changing my name but have not heard back…

Well after having a Hydra Blue on order since April without any movement... Moved on and picked up a 2024 in Granite Crystal two weekends ago. Happy to have a JEEP back in the driveway.

Hi, I am Eric from western US. I just purchased a 23 Wrangler and love the darn thing. I have taken it off-road and it handles better than my old Colorado or Landrover Disco II.

I keep seeing what look like various designations, JK JL JKLU, etc. Google is no help. Is there a site which explains Jeepology to 3rd graders? I would like to know the basics, although I have read Wiki articles and other sources I can find.

Welcome to the Jeep Family! Those designations refer to the body style versions of the Wrangler over the years. The Wrangler YJ was made from 87 to 96 (although they didn't actually make a 96 year model), the Wrangler TJ from 97 to 06, the Wrangler JK from 07 to 18 and the current model Wrangler JL from 18 to present. Yes, both the JK and the JL were made in model year 2018. Before the YJ in 87, the Jeep was not known as a Wrangler but as a CJ (Civilian Jeep) and it had various models such as CJ3, CJ5, etc. The U indicates Unlimited and refers to the 4 door models versus the 2 door. The Unlimited also refers to the TJ 2 door models that had a longer tub on them.

And this doesn't even begin to explain the various trim levels...Sport, Sport S, Willy's, Sahara, Rubicon....

Hello, just joined the forums this week.
I purchased a 2022 2D Willys and my wife drives a 2020 Unlimited.
She didn't want to get hers dirty so I had to get one for myself. We traded in our BMWs for the Jeeps and although the ride isn't as smooth it is MUCH more fun.

Just got my 2 door Rubicon couple of weeks ago, I've had a CJ-7, YJ, TJ, and a 4 door JK Rubicon. I did a few Camp Jeeps, and a Jamboree with the TJ, retired now, and looking forward to doing some events.

Starting with a build list already haha.

I'm Nath from Alabama. Its Nath with along a. I am a newbie, although I am 56 years old had Toyotas all my life and decided it was time to get a jeep in my favorite color. A friend found a 2019 Blue Wrangler JLU Sport with leather seats, cold weather package and I am tickled purple. It has 77k on it, with a 3.6 V6 and i traded my 2015 tundra for it. OMG!!!!! I see what I have been missing all this time. I absolutely love it! My dad Had a 1979 model CJ7 Golden eagle when I was a kid with a 304 V8 5 speed. This is so much better I just wish he was still alive so he could ride in it and see the difference 40 years and 3 or 4 changes in corporate ownership makes. lol! Anyway I am glad to be apart of the tribe and cannot wait to start mod-ing this baby.

Mississippi checking in- Never in my life did I consider owning a Jeep. 2023 Gladiator HA caught my wife's eye two months ago. Drove a diesel Wrangler while buying the JT at the dealer. Now we also now have a 2021 Wrangler Unlimted Sport 3.0. One day I will get my hands on a JT 3.0 Rubicon.
I grew up out west, passed through Moab 25 times, vacationed in CO for many years, while never hearing the call. Now it is heard and will be answered.
