Thanks for add from VA, been with some jeep friends for awhile now doing some crawling while borrowing the spare jeep. Finally got our own about 2 weeks ago, 23 Rubi w/ XR Pkg. Went as far as I could with offroad capabilities as I could with the dealer. No regrets so far. Already have a few plans for it think I'm really just looking to cover the weak points if anyone has some pointers there.

Have been a Bronco reservation holder for a year and a half, and the latest fiasco is Ford saying if you have hard top, sasquatch or luxe package on your order unless you drop those it will be a MY 24 with no price protection. Well h#$$ with Ford....went out and got this tonight...traded my Ram in for it. Will miss the truck, she was much more comfortable than the JL will be, but the JL promises to be fun! Looking forward to learning from all the folks here...

Back in the saddle again
It's been a strange journey the last 2 years. Bought a 21 Gladiator 80th anniversary, then traded to a 21 Gladiator Mojave, then decided my wife and I needed something a little more comfy and easier to get in and out of so we traded the Gladiator for a 22 Cherokee Trailhawk. What were we thinking?! Started looking for a new wrangler but not a 4xe. Couldn't find anything with all the options we wanted. Apparently Jeep is putting the limited supply of safety options only on the 4xe. We got lucky and found a "used" 23 Wrangler Sahara wiith all the options we wanted with only 1430 miles. And as an added bonus it has the Amp retractable side steps. My wife couldn't be happier.

Good morning...

I am Donnie from High Point, NC (originally northern WV and Pittsburgh, PA) New to the whole jeep thing, just bought a used 2018 Rubicon Unlimited. Crossed over from the dark side...traded my Silverado Trail Boss in on it...the trail boss was great except for going on trails...too wide.

So far I have done a cold air intake, throttle body spacer, and flowmaster outlaw exhaust...to try to get better gas mileage out of the girl. With the 35x12.50x18s, I am getting about 12 mpg in the city and 15 on the highway lol.

I will be putting a 2.5 inch lift on this weekend (weather permitting.) Only a few more months before Uwharrie OHV trails open again!
