I’ve been a part of this community for a couple of years now, but we moved to Japan and our’18 JLUR has been in storage. This is the last time I saw it ?. However, we’re moving back now, and I’m really excited to get back in the seat. Unfortunately, I had to troubleshoot a bad aux battery from here, but thanks to the forums, I think I’ll be able to pull f42, disconnect the negative cable, and drive away. Glad to be back and thank you!

Nice looking Ride!
Yes, remove F42 FUSE, and remove the negative battery cable from the aux battery, where it connects to the negative main battery cable. It is also a good idea to install a new AGM H7 HD Battery, at the same time.

Just picked up a new to us 2019 JLUR with the SOT. My wife and I had a yellow 2004 Unlimited that we gave up a couple years ago due to kids getting too tall to fit behind the front seats. This is a whole different ballgame and it was instant love!

2014 JKUR, 2021 Challenger Hellcat
Hi all - new to this forum, not to jeeps. My jeep history - 1980 CJ7 (project and a half in 2000), played a little catch up in 2012 with a 2001 TJ, ordered a new 2014 JKUR in 2013, and now on the verge of getting a new 2023.
Path that has gotten me here in the past week, thought it would have been a great idea to trade in my 2014 JKUR and (yes and) my 2021 Challenger Hellcat for a 2022 Grand Wagoneer series III. So glad I got my reasoning back quickly, cause there is no way I'm getting rid of that Hellcat. So figure trade out the JKUR for something newer that I can use a lot more and let the cat take a rest in the garage, to only come out when it's nice.
And I'd really like to get back into a 6 speed manual. Looked at and drove a 2023 Willy's over the weekend. Nice, but only a softop and prefer hardtop, so I can order a 2023 JLUR for just about that Willy's selling price with buying a new hardtop. Also considering an on the lot 2023 Unlimited Sport Altitude in the Manual variety.

As always if I go the order route, looking forward to that journey.

Hello. Glad to join the group. Hoping to join the JL crew. Actually looking for a new one at the moment. I have owned a couple XJs. I have a 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road at the moment, but I am really wanting a two door Wrangler. To me that is the iconic Jeep. I have two kids that are nine and twelve. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping. My only concern is making it work to do the things I want it to. Hoping to to get a little feedback from this group. Thanks in advance.

Hello all! My name is Chris. I am new to the community but not to jeeps. My love for the boxy beasts has been a lifelong obsession and, heading into adulthood as an enthusiastically ignorant idiot, one of my first acts of fiscal (ir)responsbility was the purchase of a 1977 CJ-7. It's no stretch of the imagination for me to know what Ray Stantz was feeling when he pulled up with the Ecto-1 and proudly proclaimed "Everyone can relax, I found the car!". My first jeep was spray painted black on the outside but retained its glorious tawny orange interior, which matched all of the rust spots incredibly well. It had no real floor pans to speak of, the steering gear box was shot, the speedometer was cosmetic, the rear window of the hard top was optimistically held on by a single hinge, the shocks were shot and the clutch was temperamental to say the least. Family and friends questioned my life choices, but what did they know?

I have had many vehicles since, but none were as fun as that beat up CJ that did its level best to kill me as often as it could. Time passes, and with it many changes, but never my desire for another jeep. I'm pushing forty now, and I told my wife I am due for a midlife crisis. She has graciously allowed me to spend some of my hard-earned money to relive my glory days. A CJ isn't very practical for a family man, but I managed to find a beautiful Sahara JL with just about every convenience package installed and incredibly low miles. I look forward to sharing this new adventure with all of you, and chatting with similarly-obsessed individuals of unimpeachable taste.

Welcome fellow newbie! There are few things more worthy of appreciation in life than a combat medic, so thank you for your service. How are you liking the Rubicon so far? I dropped my jeep off for a pre-purchase inspection so I haven't had much of a chance to play with it yet.
