Hello from northern Minnesota! We have a '21 JLUR in Firecracker Red. New to us a few weeks ago w/ 14k miles. Was previously a "Fleet Vehicle" in Michigan, so we are guessing some executive had it. The undercarriage is in perfect shape without a scratch on it.
So far we've added the DV8 Spec Series front bumper with sway bar disconnect skid plate, hinged front license plate bracket, and their Elite Series 20" light Bar, DV8 High Clearance rear bumper w/license plate relocate, Badlands Apex 12K winch w/synthetic rope w/Factor 55 Flat link E and Factor 55 Sawtooth Recovery Kit, Vector Bar w/67 Designs phone mounts and the Vector Bar iPad mount, KC Highlights Pro6 Gravity SAE Driving Lights, sPOD (for all the future goodies), N-Fab 3" Tubular Nerf-Steps, Hot Heads Headliner Kit w/Sound Assassin and Side Window Kits, plus a few trim accents on the interior.

Hi from a new member in Ontario, Canada! Ordered a 2 door V6 Wrangler Willys last week, my first Jeep! We'll be using it as our hobby vehicle to cart us around for mountain biking, skiing, cottaging, hunting, hiking and all that good stuff. I've never been offroading before but I've joined a group and (fingers crossed it gets here in time) I hope to join their Newbie Run toward the end of May. I don't plan on getting too crazy with the offroading hobby but would appreciate being able to run some easy trails and enjoy backcountry roads with confidence, so I figured the Willys was a nice sweet spot. Already ordered my basic rescue and tire pressure adjustment gear!

When I was in university in the early 2000s my roommate had a yellow 1990 YJ. 1st and 2nd gear were janky, the fuel gauge and speedometer didn't work, and it was a rough bastard.. but I learned to drive stick in that vehicle and have always wanted a Jeep of my own. Now I finally join the club!

Look forward to seeing you out there and learning more about "Jeep things"!

It's funny how the jeeps that are falling apart tends to cause the strongest affection. Maybe it's because you're less worried about babying a beater and are more impressed when they manage to do something you wouldn't expect them to be capable of. Welcome to the club sir.

Hey all. I'mโ€™m new to the forum, though not new to Jeeps, which Iโ€™ve owned for about 25 years.

I just picked up a 2023 JLU Rubicon, which retired a 2005 LJ (by which I mean itโ€™s no longer my daily driverโ€”Iโ€™m keeping it). Before that, I had an early TJ.

Talk soon.

Congrats on your new Rubicon..?

. . .
Thanks. Iโ€™m doing a little electrical customization now, as I learn more about the JL. Boy are things different. A quarter century of driving a Jeep nearly every day, and all of a sudden Iโ€™m stalling the thing.

But then I got back into the LJ yesterday and _for_a_second_ thought the clutch must be broken, it was so difficult to depress. It took another few minutes to get used to it again.

This new Jeep is really amazing. Iโ€™m impressed with its handling.
