Do you have the factory Aux switch option installed? If so, you could connect to one of the existing + power leads in the lower passenger footwell. The leads are controlled by the Aux switches and configured in the UConnect screen (2 options are latching/momentary and constant/ignition only). You’d probably want latching and then decide whether you want the lights avail all the time or only when the ignition is on. There is also a ground connection in the passenger footwell behind the trim piece.

If you don’t have the Aux switches, the installation becomes more challenging as you need to provide a fused + power source and a ground, as well as either a location for a switch and/or have the lights controlled by the door switches. All doable, and there are threads available that detail connections controlled by the door switches (if you want your lights to come on automatically), but if you have 0 electrical experience, I would recommend the no Aux switch option to be handled by a knowledgeable installer. Not a huge job for someone experienced with auto electrical work and shouldn’t be too expensive.
