Was there no way to tap into the factory led so that you could control the fade with the control on the dash for your light? That would be easier than using the auxiliary switch, wouldn't it? Just wondering.

I was looking to do that but 3 wires to factory lamp and only 2 with LED strip I like red to AUX and a easy ground that is the extent of my wiring knowledge
