Interior Door lock switch removal

The passenger side electric door lock switch stopped working, 2020 JLURD. Looking for removal tip. Is it removed from the outside or must you remove the interior door panel...

Both sides of the switch do an unlock and lock. Its a weird easter egg, both sides of the switch not functioning? Did something hit the switch to damage it? Just curious, thanks.

Yes, both sides of the switch are not functioning. They used to work, but that side doesn't get operated very often. I noticed a week or so ago that it quit functioning. I pulled the switch out and it is entirely electronic. Really no contacts like we used to see in the old days. It has a printed circuit and I'm assuming it failed. I ordered one from the dealer, for $30 I will give that a try. There's essentially no way to bench test the switch with nothing more than a printed circuit internally.
